History
Selection One was established in 2001 after the sale of one of the largest technology recruitment groups of the 90’s. One of the clauses of the sale was the partners could not recruit in the technology sector for two years so Selection One initially operated in the sales arena, and recently because time has passed has moved back into technology along with other sectors.
At Selection One the idea is to keep our best people in the company by sharing the overall equity. In terms of ongoing growth and expansion, the plan is to ultimately expand the organisation throughout the US, Europe, Pacific Rim and Australia with maybe 25 to 30 Partners controlling 500 or 600 staff or more. Ultimately, we want to the group to move into recruitment for banking, shipping, law, finance and a whole host of other professional areas.
Selection One work ethic
a) Never make promises you are unable to deliver on. We understand that clients loose confidence and it is near on impossible to regain that trust.
b) We ensure your expectations are realistic and are brave enough to walk away from projects if we know your objectives are unachievable. However, we always explain our issues and offer advice and alternatives.
c) We always attempt to allocate the correct resources to each project depending on its merits and ALWAYS have surplus staff to bolster the project team should they be lagging behind from where they expect to be at a certain date in the cycle. d) Keep communication channels open and provide regular updates.
