Warning about Stem Cell 'Trial' Emails

We have become aware that a company called Integrated Bio Sciences (IBS) is emailing people with regards to a stem cells 'trial'.

We have reason to believe that they company is using an email list derived directly from ACT (Advanced Cell Therapeutics) and we therefore have concerns that IBS are either operating using the database from ACT or that they are, in some way, connected to ACT. ACT, a company run by Laura Brown and Stephen Van Rooyen,  was exposed by a BBC Newsnight programme.  The programme found that the stem cells being used were meant for  research purposes only and never intended for human use.  Laura Brown and Stephen Van Rooyen were also involved in a company called Biomark, they are being pursued by the FBI for an alleged fraudulent stem cell scam in the USA.

Whilst we continue, with other organisations, to look into this, we would suggest that anyone in receipt of this email either ignores it completely or approaches it with extreme caution.

If you have already received this email from IBS, please could you email a copy of it to laura@msrc.co.uk who is collating the responses.
